On Saturday, October 11th, 1913, the Philadelphia (now Oakland) Athletics defeated the New York (now San Francisco) Giants at Polo Grounds in New York to clinch the 10th World Series four games to one. It was the third World Series championship for the Athletics franchise and the second that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
