On Tuesday, October 9th, 1934, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Detroit Tigers at Navin Field in Detroit to win the 31st World Series four games to three. It was the third World Series championship for the Cardinals franchise and the fourth that was won in Michigan. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
