On Wednesday, October 10th, 1951, the New York Yankees defeated the New York (now San Francisco) Giants at Yankee Stadium in New York to win the 48th World Series four games to two. It was the 14th World Series championship for the Yankees franchise and the 17th that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.

5. #19 Al Dark (Giants)- SS
