On Tuesday, October 4th, 1955, the Brooklyn (now Los Angeles) Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in New York to win the 52nd World Series four games to three. It was the first World Series championship for the Dodgers franchise and the 20th that was won in New York. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
