On Thursday, October 15th, 1964, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the New York Yankees at Busch Stadium in St. Louis to win the 61st World Series four games to three. It was the seventh World Series championship for the Cardinals franchise and the sixth that was won in Missouri. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
