Ducati rider, Jorge Lorenzo, came out as the winner at the Austrian GP which took place on the Red Bull Ring on Sunday (08/12/2018).

He excelled Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) who finished second and third.

Lorenzo won the positive record of Ducati in the previous week, Czech Republic GP.

At that time, Dovizioso finished first, followed by Lorenzo.

Meanwhile, Marquez finished the race on the third podium.

For Lorenzo, this is the third victory this season after the Italian GP and Catalunya GP.

Through this victory, Lorenzo rose from fifth to third in the MotoGP rider standings with a collection of 130 points.

Lorenzo shifted the position of his teammate, Dovizioso, who is now down to fourth with 129 points.

Meanwhile, Rossi, who in the race this time finished in sixth position, still occupies the second place after bagging 142 points.

MotoGP riders will continue to compete in the British GP racing series, 24-26 August.
