Valentino Rossi admitted that he did not want to be satisfied with the appearance of the Yamaha motorbike in the Thailand MotoGP race last week. According to him, there are still many things that need to be addressed by the Japanese manufacturing team.

In the race at the Buriram Circuit, Sunday, October 7, 2018, Rossi had the chance to lead the race. However, in the end it must be overtaken by Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez and Maverick Vinales.

Marquez completed the race as a champion, followed by Dovizioso and Vinales. Meanwhile, Rossi had to settle for fourth place.

Despite failing to win, this has been a pretty good result for Vinales and Rossi in the second half so far. Previously, since the Czech MotoGP, both Yamaha riders were unable to reach the podium.

However, Rossi did not want to rush to be satisfied with Yamaha's achievements. He considered the results in Buriram could not be a benchmark for the rise of Yamaha.
