Marc VDS racing driver of the Honda, Franco Morbidelli, absent on the race Circuit Assen Netherlands MotoGP on Sunday (1/7/2018), after experiencing an injury to hands on practice sessions are free.

As reported by the Motorsport, Morbidelli was brought to medical care center after a fall at high speed on the third Saturday free practice (30/6/2018), a.m. local time. He suffered broken bones didianogsis light in the third metacarpal bone in his left hand.

The injury makes Morbidelli cannot fit in the conditions to join the race.

Morbidelli's future in MotoGP is still the subject of speculation. He reportedly will be the satellite Yamaha team riders sponsored by Petronas in 2019. Disciple of Valentino Rossi with the possibility of future team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Franco Morbidelli is currently ranked 16th standings while MotoGP 2018. He's the best rookie, while being with the best results when it finished ninth on MotoGP Jerez.
