Today, Saturday, May 18, 2019, the Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series race will be held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. This race is the prelude to the longest race of the season Coca Cola 600, race at 600 miles. The winner of the Nascar Stars race, will take the sum of 1 million dollars, which is a juicy sum of money, in addition to the trophy of one of the prestigious race not scoring this season.

Last year's star race was won by Stewart-Haas Racing driver, Kevin Harvick #4, followed by Daniel Suarez #19, who is now his teammate, but in the last season he runs for Joe Gibbs team Racing In the third place was the Team Penske driver, Joey Logano #22, followed by Denny Hamlin #11 and Chase Elliott # 9, in fourth and fifth place respectively.Just like last season, in this race you will be using the new aerodynamic kit, which makes the race much more exciting. The format for this race is similar to last year, 4 segments, the first segment to 30 laps, the second and third to 20 laps, and there are 5 more laps in the last stage for a total of 15 (Last year were 10 ). Also before the main race the Sprint Showdown is being held, where 24 riders will be running for two starts for the main race. The riders highlighted for this previous race are D. Hemric # 8, W. Byron # 24, D. Suarez # 4, P. Menard # 21, A. Bowman # 88, Kyle Larson # 42 and R. Stenhouse Jr.

For this event I see Ford teams as favorites, especially those from Penske, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski, without discarding Kevin Harvick from SHR. The main pilots of the Japanese Toyota brand are mainly my first option, Kyle Busch # 18, followed by Martin Truck Jr and the driver of the machine 11, all of them from JRG.

I have to say that the driver who won last week's race was Brad Keselowski from Penske Machine 2, who achieved his third victory of the season, tying Kyle Busch, as the maximum winners of the current season 2019.
