LeBron James scored the highest score, 45 points, to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 4-3 until the seventh round of the first round of the NBA Basketball playoffs. In the Sunday 29 April 2018 match, the Cavaliers defeated the Pacers 105-101.

The Pacers, who were also defeated by Cleveland a year ago, are actually in high confidence. The reason is, the Pacers won 121-87 in the sixth game, so the overall score became 3-3 in the seven best games.

Next, the Cavs will open their regional semifinal match on Tuesday against first seed Toronto.

James played 43 minutes and left the field in the third quarter. He went straight to the dressing room to get treatment because of cramps. A number of Cleveland supporters were worried that the 33-year-old would appear last time for them.

Tristan Thompson made a rare start for the Cavs. Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue has used a different starting line-up 34 times this season. Thompson then contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Kevin Love made four three-pointers and George Hill returned after missing three games due to back spasms. Love scored 11 points in 19 minutes of the second half. On the Pacers side, Victor Oladipo scored 30 points and Darren Collison 23.

This is the first seventh game in history at the Quicken Loans Arena and Cleveland fans have been excited from the start.

If only they lost in this seventh game, the Cavs not only ended their campaign this season faster. But, it will also encourage James to get closer to being a free agent.

James is expected to opt out of his contract in July to test the market. A number of teams from Philadelphia to Los Angeles wanted to sign a contract with the three-time NBA champion.
