After a long time of suspension from the NBA season due to the Covid-19 pandemic, hopes and joy are back for those of us who are writers and basketball lovers specifically, many situations have happened during all these months where there was uncertainty to set a new beginning and calendar for the continuation of the NBA, among which happened DIRECTV the cable satellite TV system that provided all the programming window to the NBA stopped operating in Venezuela, that is another story that I will relate in a different publication where I will expand the topic.
The return of the NBA gives us hope and ignites the motivation and joy that the basketball games and all that this sports world implies, also gives us interesting content to shape the writers.
In the first day of the restart with the preseason games to warm up the engines before starting the official calendar, I was able to witness the game between Clippers Vs. Magic where the players looked fit and you could tell that they were working throughout this time of suspension, I perceive that it will not be very complicated to take their pace of play quickly, I was very impressed by what I saw, also the bubble facilities in Orlando look great and very safe, anyway time will tell how protected and the players will be in that great space.
I must also add the pleasant impression left by the performance of Bol Manute Bol who left some interesting numbers in his debut in the NBA prep games with the Nuggets, leaving as a personal mark 16 Pts. 10 Reb. 6 Blk. 1 Ast. Also for his height of 7.2 feet he showed great skill in driving the ball and good throwing from the perimeter, characteristics that are not common in players of this height, it is worth remembering that Bol Bol is the son of the remembered African player Manute Bol, it will be attractive to see this new talent play when he has official minutes at the beginning of the season.
I had some time without writing in Scorum, since they suspended the league because of Covid-19 but for me it is nice to come back and write about this sport that I am passionate about and I hope to receive the support of all of you as always, leave your comments and opinions about what you think about this new start of the NBA.
