The Sacramento Kings will try this season to reach a playoff with a young and promising team that has a good potential.

Since the time of Chris Weber, Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic, the fans of the Sacramento are waiting for the opportunity to rejoice on the success of Kings. Over the past few years, this franchise has chosen highly positioned picks in order to create a respectable team in the league. In the merging of this mosaic, the last part of this puzzle is Marvin Bagley III, the second overall pick from this year's draft, which with its energy and potential significantly raises faith in this team.

Bagley III had the opportunity to answer a couple of days ago several questions that he was asked about expectations for the next season. Asked by whom he sees the MVP next season, said LeBron James, Steph Curry or James Harden. He also said that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid could jump out in the race for the MVP. However, what was most surprising is that in this category he also put one Kings player ... himself.

Already at the start of his career, Bagley III possessing great confidence, which seems to add to the optimism of all Sacramento fans. On the other hand, Bagley had difficulty in the summer league to show his full potential so that such statements, however optimistic, could create additional pressure on him and the team. With 10.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, with just 33.3 shooting percent in the Summer league, it has been shown that he will have to work significantly on his shot, and that it will take time for him to adapt to the NBA level.

Will his predictions about winning the MVP title as the rookie be realistic, which in the history succeeded only Wilt Chamberlain and Wes Unseld, or whether this is more self-motivation, remains to be seen in the coming season? Thank you for reading the article and feel free to write your opinion of MVP title, as well as for the Rookie of the Year in 2018/19 season.
