Even though the Warriors lost Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala, they made sure that they can still be a competitive team by acquiring D’Angelo Russell from the Brooklyn Nets. And then they make sure that Draymond Green would be happy by giving him a massive 4-year $100 million contract extension.
But if you look at their payroll, it looks like the Warriors will have to spend a ton of money for their four starters. The Warriors will have to pay $554 million for Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and D’Angelo Russell. That was according to HoopsHype.

It’s a huge paycheck so the Warriors should get the most out of these four players. They maybe had a little discount in Draymond Green’s contract but I think that’s a fair deal with what he can contribute on the floor. The Warriors are still a competitive team and I don’t buy on the idea that they will not make the playoffs. Curry will have all the touches he needed next season. He will be huge for sure.
