Andre Drummond's name is always involved in trade rumors these past few months. The 26-year old former all-star big man will become a free agent in 2020 and this is the last year if his contract with the Detroit Pistons. He recently expressed his desire to test free agency but it looks like that it will not favor him.
According to some NBA executives, Drummond will have only a few options in the 2020 free agency.
There will only have a few NBA stars in the 2020 free agency and Drummond will be one of the best players out there. But, there are limited teams that can afford huge contracts to sign those few stars and most of the teams would not spend that huge money for an old-school big man like Drummond. Drummond is not like the typical modern center who can shoot from the outside. And that would certainly hurt his value. Let's see if many teams would show interest in him when he becomes a free agent.
