Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 36 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, I will feature a duel between "The Answer" Allen Iverson and "The Black Mamba" Kobe Bryant in an epic battle in the 2001 NBA Finals.
The 2001 Finals was one of the most memorable finals battle in history of the NBA. It is where the Philadelphia 76ers upset the power house Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1 of their Finals series. But after that win, Kobe and Shaq did not let the Sixers win another one as they won the battle and won the Championship. Kobe and AI had an excellent battle throughout the series but one of the best is in Game 2 where Kobe poured in 31 points while Iverson had 23 points.
It was always fun to watch these two superstars go at each other because it will always be a hell of a fight. These two are killers and highly respected and they're two of the most competitive superstars in this league during their area. But luckily for Kobe, he had Shaq in this finals series and Iverson have nothing but a bunch of role players that's why I admire him for bringing this team all the way to the Finals.
