Hey there fellow scorum fans! Let's take a break and relax while we watch another NBA Highlights. Today I present to you Episode 6 of NBA Highlights and for today's episode, I will feature the historic win by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2001 NBA Finals against the almighty Los Angeles Lakers (sorry Lakers fans). This game was one of the best I ever saw and this will be one of the best performances from the great Allen Iverson where he drops 48 points. Even the duo of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant can't overcome Iverson's outstanding performance. Iverson was a killer in this game and he punished the Lakers all by himself even though Shaq was dominating the paint. The Answer was able to find ways to score the basketball. He's all over the floor and played his heart out in front of L.A. fans in the Staples Center.
Shaq dominated everyone in the paint even one of the greatest defenders Dikembe Mutombo. The Sixers needed to triple team Shaq to stop him. Kobe's defense was also tough against Iverson. Everybody knows how good Kobe was as a lock down defender but Iverson was just too good that even the tough defense from Kobe wasn't enough to stop him. It just felt that Iverson is in the zone the whole game draining almost every mid-range and three point shots he takes. This game was also the one where the legendary step over on Tyronn Lue happened. But after the win in Game 1, the Lakers bounce back and didn't lose in the next 4 games to win the championships.
Now, let's sit back, relax and enjoy watching. Thanks for dropping by and keep following me for more of NBA Highlights!
