Hello Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 61 of NBA Highlights, and for today's Episode, we will have a throwback of one of the best Finals performances by non other than the 2006 Finals MVP Dwyane Wade!
Who remember the 2006 NBA Finals? It was one of the best championships ever as Dwyane Wade carried his Miami Heat team to a Finals victory against Dirk Nowitzki and his Dallas Mavericks. What a journey by Wade and the Heat as the Mavericks beat them in the first two games and then they came back and win the next four games to close out the series, 4-2. It was an amazing finals performance by Wade as he averaged 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.1 steals and 1 block a game. Wade still had Shaquille O'neal in this finals run but it's not the dominant Shaq back in the 90's. It was an aging Shaq who only averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds a game in the finals so we cannot say that Wade has the right amount of help. He was just too good and Dirk and the Mavericks just couldn't handle him.
Now, let's take a look at some NBA Highlights from Dwyane Wade's 2006 NBA Finals run. Enjoy!
