What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about Kemba Walker and his impending Free Agency decision. Let's do this!
Looks like Kemba Walker is the most loyal player in the NBA today as he expressed his willingness to stay with the team taking less than the max contract that he deserves after making it to the all-NBA team. Through Kemba's career, this is the best chance for him to get out of Charlotte and join a winning team. He has been with the struggling Charlotte Hornets team for 7 years now but they couldn't find success and only appeared in the playoffs a few times.
And as of now, Kemba would be taking a pay cut for the sake of the team. The could then sign other key players to help them compete. That's a lot of sacrifice for Kemba and it only shows how much he loves the franchise and the City of Charlotte.
Free agency is coming and it's only a matter of days to know where Kemba Walker will end up. He will still meet with other teams and hear their offers but his priority is re-signing with the Hornets and staying in Charlotte. The problem now for the Hornets is their capability of surrounding Kemba the right pieces. He already screws up numerous times in dealing with their player's contract. It would be hard to secure some key free agents in a small market team who hasn't prove anything yet. Let's see how the Hornets handle things in free agency.
