The Nets already have a decent line up with pretty fine role players and bench players. They made it to the playoffs with D'Angelo Russell leading them. But, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving together, the ceiling is high and the two can take the Nets to the next level.
According to Ric Bucher of Bleacher's Report, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have already met two times to discuss their desire to continue their careers playing together in Brooklyn. There are also rumors that Durant is really pissed off at the Golden State Warriors.
The Brooklyn Nets are serious about bringing the two superstars to the team. They already made some moves to free up more space and they will continue to make moves to convince them to play in Brooklyn. The Nets are gaining confidence right now. They are the front-runners to land the two superstars.
Yes, KD will be out for a whole season but it will be worth the wait if KD gets back to his old form. With the roster they have now, they can still compete in the Eastern Conference with Kyrie Irving leading them. Then, they'll wait until Kevin Durant was totally healed so they will have a better shot at the title.
