NBA Talk #204: Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving team-up was not planned

What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start!

The 2019-2020 season will be one of the most exciting seasons for a long time. The super team trend has now come to an end and it's back to superstar duos. There are a lot of superstar duos that teamed up in a team. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and James Harden, and of course, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

Everybody believes that the duo of KD and Kyrie was planned a long time ago. It was the conversation of KD and Kyrie in the all-star game that made people think that they were planning something big when free agency comes.

But in a recent interview, Kevin Durant revealed that their team up in Brooklyn was not planned. He said that it's not something that was in the works for a long time. It just came along.

It was first rumored that the two will team up in New York but not the Nets. Many thought that KD and Kyrie will play for the Knicks. But, unfortunately for the Knicks, they ended up joining the Nets. And when KD is back, the Nets would surely become a championship contender.
