The newly added all-star point guard of the Golden State Warriors is one of the best offensive players in the league as of now. He is a deadly shooter who is a great fit for the Warriors' run and gun offense. But what's concerning about Russell's game is his poor defense. The Warriors' defensive rating is lower when D'Lo is on the floor. He's good at offense but his defense seems like a liability for the Warriors.
He needs improvement at the defensive end of the floor and the good news about it is, he is willing to do whatever it is to improve his defense and help the team. He acknowledges his defensive flaws and he's ready to make it right.
Russell is young. It's normal to have some flaws. He has enough time to get better and improve himself. He would surely figure that out in time.
