What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 at your service to give you another NBA discussion and today we will talk about LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis and Carmelo Anthony. We heard many rumors about LeBron recruiting these guys to wear the purple and gold but there are no legit news about all those rumors until LeBron had an exclusive interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols.

In his interview, LeBron revealed many things like his impression about his first season with the Lakers, being a basketball dad, Kevin Durant's comment about him being toxic, recruiting stars like Anthony Davis, the possibility of bringing Carmelo Anthony to L.A. and potentially not playing in the NBA Finals this season. But today let's just talk about the recruiting.

Anthony Davis' name has been link to the Lakers for a long time but no moves has been done. The Lakers are rumored to be keeping assets to trade for Anthony Davis when the right time comes. There is also a report that Davis dine with LeBron after the Lakers and Pelicans match recently. Maybe the King is starting the recruiting process. We all know that Davis has spend years carrying the New Orleans Pelicans without getting any help. The only help he got was when the Pelicans traded for DeMarcus Cousins but Cousins suffered an injury which makes their hopes lost. I think Anthony Davis is tired of carrying the Pelicans alone for years and he may want a change. I know he wants to win and maybe he just not want to express those feelings of wanting to get out. The Pelicans are not going anywhere this season and they might not make the playoffs so if they failed again, maybe Davis will demand a trade and might strongly consider the Lakers.

Kevin Durant will be the best free agent available next summer and rumors are spreading that Durant will leave the Warriors and will find a new home to regain his reputation in the league. Yes, many of us hates Kevin Durant for joining the already power house team Warriors who won a championship. Durant obviously showed his greediness on winning a championship to all of us fans and the whole world which makes the people lost respect to him. I hate this player for that decision. He is a great player no doubt but he hurts his own legacy by doing that decision. His 2 championships are meaningless for many basketball fans. They didn't respect that because the Warriors are over powered winning that 2 chips.

Now, Durant has the chance to rebuild his reputation in the league and won the hearts of the fans again. Durant recently commented on the topic about teams trying to recruit him in free agency. He said that nobody can recruit him. He will just go with the team that he wants and where will he be happy. He wants to enjoy playing basketball everyday and that's what is important for him.

The Lakers would surely try to pursue Durant like other teams will do but it will be difficult. In LeBron's interview with Rachel Nichols, he said that he'd been recruiting guys since like 2007 and got rejected many times. He think the main reason is those guys do not want to come to Cleveland and being in Los Angeles, maybe it will not be hard to get guys there. I'm very excited on how things will go through next summer. I think there will be a lot of changes again. Can't wait till next summer.

Now, let's talk about the possibility of Carmelo Anthony joining LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers. Melo hasn't been playing after 10 games with the Houston Rockets. He was cut by the team and nobody is taking him. Truly the Banana-boat squad has a strong relationship. Part of LeBron's interview with Nichols, he said that it'd be great to have Carmelo Anthony to the Lakers. James believe that Melo can still play the game of basketball and he can help Melo revive his career. He stated that some times he knows Melo better than himself and vise versa. And if there is an opportunity to play with Melo, he would warmly welcome it.

James put it that way but he also said that he will not make any move like demanding the front office to sign Melo or anything like that. He's just expressing his opinion about the possibility of teaming up with Melo but it's still up to the front office if they will sign Carmelo. So far, the Lakers aren't showing any interest in the 10-time all-star and maybe that opportunity will not eventually come.

That is all for today boys! What do you think about this topic? Would there be a big trade to happen? Will the Lakers sign Melo? Let me hear your thoughts and let's have some basketball talk! :)
