Giannis Antetokounmpo says he ready to help Greece in the finals of the FIBA World Cup scheduled to take place in China in 2019.

“I talked to my coach and I would love to play,” the players said in an exclusive interview with Spanish sport daily Marca.

The NBA superstar added that his services to the Greek team are not needed in the qualifying grounds as the team is “doing great", but if everything goes well and there are no injuries, I will be ready for the World Cup.

Greece will now carry its victories to the second round, where it will face Germany, Serbia and Georgia in a group of six – along with Estonia and Israel – with the top three advancing to the finals in China.
