As was explained in the previous article about this duel, they will have fierce competition. They have both qualified from the first round by playing some of the toughest teams in the playoffs. Not just that, they also escaped disqualification by a hairsbreadth. They're strong opponents to each other, and we're most likely going to be seeing more equalizers until, probably, their seventh game. The Nuggets and the Clippers came all out for each other in this round.

In this article, we'll try to compare and contrast their stats to see which team is in a better position to win in their game tomorrow. We'll take a close look at their head to head stats, their previous games, and what the outcomes were, and then we'll predict what the results would be so that you can have a clearer understanding of the situation before you stake your money.

Head to Head

The Los Angeles Clippers are ahead of the Denver Nuggets in the head to head stats. They have what I like to call a competitive duel. Although the margin is reasonably high, we can't conclude just yet that the Clippers would easily thrash the Nuggets in the semi-finals. We can already see that from their last two matches.

Let's take a look at their h2h in the regular-season games. The Clippers and the Nuggets have played 178 games, and as I've mentioned earlier, the Clippers are ahead of their opponent. They have won 97 games while the Nuggets have won 81, leaving the margin at 16 games. A 16-game margin may not look like a big deal until you realize that the team you're playing against isn't one that ever gets complacent, so how do you cover-up?

In the playoffs, the Clippers have won 5 out of the six meetings. The Nuggets have been able to win just one out of the six. In the previous article, I stated that the nuggets wouldn't allow the Clippers to record a winning streak on them, and now, we can see that playing out.

Previous Games Records

The Nuggets are doing their entire best, and they've not had an entirely bad season. They have also had a 7-game winning streak, and that's their highest this season. They've also not had more than a 3-game losing streak this season.

The Los Angeles Clippers have done pretty satisfactorily in the 2019/2020 season. They've had some lovely wins. Although they've had some losses too, their successes almost completely drown their losses as you'd expect. They've had a winning streak of up to 7 matches, and their highest losing streak is just 3. It's not an easy feat when you're playing against much more challenging and better-composed teams.

Predictions/Verdict

We'll leave the odds at 1.5 for the Clippers to win the Nuggets' one and 2.0 to win.

May the better side win.
