I mean its fair argument that Carmelo Anthony doesn't win a single chip because of the players or the pieces around him, unlike Dwayne Wade and Lebron James who won championships with star studded roster. Melo made his case in this conversation because his career is somewhat downplayed by a lot of NBA media's or analysts that didn't even played inside the court.
You could say Melo is one of those guys that can bring you a trophy if you just build a big 3 with him maybe if he chosed to play with Lebron and Wade in Miami maybe they could win more than Chris Bosh at that lineup. Or if Melo signed with the Bulls to go along with the MVP Derrick Rose during that point in time. It would be nice to challenge the Lebron Big 3 in the east with Melo's own version of Big 3 with Joakim Noah and D Rose.
I am a Melo fan as well so at the very least let him join a team as his last season, he could be a reliable scorer on a contending team and let Melo win a chip. I hope before the season started someone could have a slightest bit of interest for Carmelo's services, he is still an offensive jaggernaut and a pretty good perimeter shooter he could be your stretch 4 guy off the bench
