Tracy McGrady is probably the closest basketball player to Kobe Bryant especially during this retirement chapter of Kobe's life where both Tmac and Kobe coaching their own daughters and competing in the tournaments.
Tmac also shares his fondest and most memorable moments during their earlier days when they were both teenagers, where also Tmac says that Kobe always telling him that he(Kobe) wanted to die young and be immortalized and also end his career better than Michael Jordan. As we all know MJ is one of Kobe's idol and mimic his game to the greatest of all time, which Kobe almost got there.
Tmac while being interviewed by Rachel Nichols in ESPN's The Jump, both can't contain their emotions while tears are streaming down their eyes.
