Just when we thought betting on the NBA regular season couldn’t get any more exciting, the Squares prove us all wrong. This year, several sportsbooks are hosting the classic NBA Basketball Squares that we know, and if you’re in on the action, here’s how you can use it to your betting advantage.
How the game works
In this betting format, what you need to do is to simply choose a square (or squares), then wait for the games to finish to see if you’ve chosen the winning square. If you make the right prediction, you win the corresponding prizes for that particular wager.
Just to give you a visual of how the games will play out, the winning square would be the final digit of a winning team’s score and the final digit of the losing team’s score, in that exact order. The goal is to select that square correctly.
Basketball Squares are usually played by most basketball bettors during March Madness tournaments, but the game can also be played during the regular season and even on a single event. In other cases, you can use the same squares for more than one event.
Join Nitrogen Sports’ NBA Nitro Squares
Nitrogen Sports has its version of the classic squares that is pretty much the same across other sportsbooks, but different.
The contest has corresponding requirements and qualifications laid out for its participants, so make sure to read them over at Nitrogen Sports Blog’s official NBA Squares guidelines to successfully secure a spot.
And finally, how much does it cost to join the Basketball Squares by Nitrogen Sports? As with other contests hosted by the sportsbook, all players can enter the Nitro Squares event for free and/or via Buy-ins (in the form of Betslips, etc). Unless otherwise stated, this will be explicitly stated in each contest.
A gentle reminder, though, that only entries made before the pre-set deadline and entries via the Nitro Squares contest 10×10 grid will be accepted. So be sure to submit your properly-created entry on time.
