The Los Angeles Lakers have handed the Denver Nuggets their first loss for the season after The King dropped a triple-double consisting of 28 points (10-17 FG), 11 rebounds, 11 assists ending the four game win streak that Denver has accumulated at the start of the 2018-19 season. Lebron James was accompanied by an impressive performance by Kyle Kuzma who also posted 22 points (8-18 FG), 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks and Javale Mcgee who scored 21 points (10-16 FG), 7 rebounds, and 2 assists demonstrating that the Lakers may have found some momentum.

The first half ended with Lebron James driving to the basket when being met by four defenders, Lebron then dishes the ball to Lonzo Ball who then passes to Kyle Kuzma who drains the three to beat the buzzer. This put the Lakers up by one point ending the half at 58-57. The contest was tight throughout the game with both team showing signs of possibly clinching the victory but the Los Angeles Lakers came out on top winning with the score of 121-114.

Nikola Jovik put up a good performance with the Denver Nuggets posting a stat line of 24 points (9-17 FG), 11 rebounds, and 3 assists adding to his already impressive start to the season. Next, the Lakers have the San Antonio Spurs at the AT & T Centre which will be the second showdown between Lebron James and Demar Derozan.

If the Lakers continue to build chemistry and perform at a high-level consistency then there is no doubt that the Lakers could be a major threat later on in the season.
