I was very excited for the match up between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors as the Raptors have clearly shown they are a force to be reckoned with in the NBA and the Warriors have shown that despite there differences, they can compete with any team in the NBA. I ended up being disappointed when i found out that Kawhi Leonard was not playing in the ball game thinking that the Golden State Warriors would absolutely destroy the Raptors without arguably the best two-way play in the NBA. Boy was i shocked when i watched the game with the Toronto Raptors absolutely smashing the Warriors from the start of the ball game getting the 113-93 further strengthening there position as the leaders of the NBA.

Kyle Lowry stepped up big time in my eyes on the offensive end as he had been reluctant to shoot in many games i have watched of the Raptors seeming like he was in a slump but the superstar point guard definitely found his form in today's matchup. The Raptors worked very well as a cohesive unit distributing the ball perfectly and giving the Golden State Warriors no hope of mounting any sort of comeback outscoring the Warriors 31-22 in the first quarter and 26-19 in the second quarter proving to difficult for the Warriors to remain competitive.

Kevin Durant was outstanding for the Golden State Warriors but received no help from his superstar squad resulting in the Warriors looking like a dysfunctional team who had only one option who was Durant. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson failed to be the deadly marksman they are known for and I was really shocked when they got stomped by a Raptors team which doesn't even have Kawhi Leonard!
