The Lakers' star LeBron James never hide his unfavorable attitude to US President Donald Trump. In his last interview with CNN, LeBron said that Trump uses sport to divide the country.

"What I noticed over the last few months that he's kind of used sport to kind of divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to. Because I know that sport was the first time I ever was around someone white." - Said LeBron

Trump reacted immediately and posted on his Twitter account a response:

The end of his entry refers to Michael Jordan. Lakers' player didn't want answer it. However, through he spokesman he said: "I support LeBron James. He's doing an amazing job for his community".

Also other athletes and politicians were not indifferent to Trump's words and stood up for James.

Anthony Tolliver didn't allow to attack his NBA brotherhood:

and so did Karl-Anthony Towns. He also pointed out that LeBron opened a school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and that he wants to help children with problems.

He was also supported by John Kasich, who is a politician and current Governor of Ohio:

It's not the first time when LBJ criticizes the current President of the United States.

Recently LeBron insulted Trump when the President cancelled the Golden State Warriors' invitation to the White House after winning the championship.

Steve Kerr, coach, and Stephen Curry also said that they are not going to participate in such a meeting. For the first time in 55 years the tradition, that US President hosts the NBA champions during their match against the Washington Wizards, was broken. The first meeting took place in 1963 when John F. Kennedy invited Boston Celtics team.

It is worth to note that LeBron has been involved in politics for a long time. During the last presidential election, James spoke at Hilary Clinton' election rally. He was also supporting Barack Obama.

NBA is not the only league that was criticized by Trump. It also applies to NFL league, that was attacked by the President of the United States several times.

Would you like to see one of the NFL owners crashes someone who does not respect our flag? - said Trump during one of the rallies.

There was even a meeting where NFL representatives and footballers wanted to establish a program which aimed to stop Trump's unfavorable comments.

The NFL authorities introduced new policy that ordered all players to stand during the national anthem. Those who didn't want to stand could stay in the locker room. However, Trump didn't like also this idea. Ultimately, the league gave up on this idea and do not plan to change anything.
