Stephen Curry is the son of a former NBA player, Dell Curry. He is considered as one of the best basketball players in the NBA league. He was a three-time NBA champion with Warriors. The 30-year-old player is a two-time MVP of the regular season (2015 and 2016). When he was chosen the second time he received consentaneous commendation from journalists, which happened for the first time in the NBA history.
The three-time NBA champion (2015, 2016 and 2018) has a valid contract with "Warriors" until 2022. He signed a deal in July 2017 and for five years he will earn $ 201 million, which is the NBA record.
The Golden State Warriors' champion said on the Bill Simmons Podcast that he would like to end his career in the club from California. He stated that he feels here like at home and it's obvious that he would like to stay in California.
"I love the Bay Area, man. The only reason I go home now is if my sister's getting married or to go play the Hornets for that one game, so I haven't really been back much. I haven't put my mind there."
He was selected in the first draft round with the number 7 by the Golden State Warriors in 2009. Since then, he has been playing for the Californian club all the time.
Last season he scored an average of 26.4 points, he had 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds. Nevertheless because of his injury he was able to play only 51 games of the regular season.
If he would like to end his career, it would be nice if he ended up in the club where he played all the time.
