Lebron James is currently holding the record for the best player in the NBA for this generation. There is no denying how much effort when he lifts a team into Finals which we can see mostly in his previous team Cavaliers.

Lebron James transferred from one team to another which mostly less happen to old superstars where they concentrate on one team until their retirement. But I think, superstars in this generation are more into team hoping to possibly increase their basketball player value.

Lebron was drafted as round 1 pick 1 in 2003 NBA draft, where he was chosen by his hometown team Cleveland Cavaliers. He was announced as Rookie of the Year where he pulls averages 5.5 in rebounds, 20.9 in points and 5.9 in assists per game.

James At Cleveland Cavaliers

During his first year in NBA at Cleveland Cavaliers, he did perform well during their games which gives him an average of 20.9 points per game. Despite on those efforts, the team was not able to make it into playoffs in the 2003-2004 season.

In 2004-2005 season another journey for James but still his team Cleveland Cavaliers didn't manage to get into the playoffs. But a great change happens during 2006-2007 where they manage to make it into their conference finals and won but sadly in finals, they will sweep by San Antonio Spurs.

In the 2008-2009 season, James got his very first MVP Award while having a good statistic record, averaging 7.2 assists, 7.6 rebounds, 1.2 blocks per game, 1.7 steals and 28.4 points. James is proving himself that he is an all-around player that could help the team in many aspects of the game.

After James become a free agent, he decided to left the team after 2009–2010 season, where his team Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated in Semi Finals in Eastern Conference.

James At Miami Heat

After he leaves Cleveland Cavaliers he transferred to Miami Heat along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, hoping for a better chance of winning an NBA championship and less offense for him.

During his stay in Miami, he receives different criticism from fans, sports analyst, and even former players. Former players Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan also criticized James for joining Miami with Bosh and Wade, instead of maintaining Cleveland until he got his NBA championship.

In the 2011-2012 season, Miami Heat did manage to win NBA Finals against Oklahoma City where Lebron James won as Most Valuable Player which he did perform a good performance where he finishes 7.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 27.1 points and 53 percent shooting. He has really expanded his skill set, making him a great player and deserve the MVP award on that season.

Again in the 2012-2013 season, Miami again wins their back-to-back championship against San Antonio Spurs, where again he pulled off the MVP award.

On their three-peat journey for the 2013-2014 season, Miami Heat was defeated by San Antonio Spurs ending their quest in Game 5.

After his contract ended with Miami Heat, he then decides to go back to Cavaliers to prove himself.

Back Again In Cleveland

It was a great year for James to be back in Cleveland with other best players signing Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.

In the 2014-2015 season, they encounter Golden State Warriors but lost with a 2-4 standing. But despite their loss, James is still included in the possible Final MVP award but it was won by Stephen Curry.

Another season clash for both Cleveland and Golden State Warriors in 2015-2016 Finals where Cleveland won in Game 7. James really puts up a great fight in Finals where he got averages 2.6 steals, 8.9 assists, 11.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 29.7 points where he won unanimously on MVP Finals selection.

Season 2016-2017, James meet again Golden State Warriors in Finals where they are defeated with a 4-1 standing.

For the Final season of James in Cleveland without Kyrie Irving, still, Cleveland manage to make it into the Finals but sweep by Golden State Warriors.

Another Journey

After James on free agent again, he signed in Los Angeles Lakers for a four-year contract with the amount of $154 million. This is another journey for James to prove himself that he can still do great as a basketball player and perform well while he is on his new team.

What do you think about James transferring to the Los Angeles Lakers, is it a good move for James or he should stay with Cleveland. Hope to see some comments and opinions here.
