I am thrilled to announce my 61st Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode, I will talk some Lebron James and the Lakers as well as the panic that is running ramped in Chicago!

Lebron James and company had their official photo shoot this week. I do have to say, it is pretty cool to see Lebron in a Lakers uniform. But when I saw the crew around him, I realized that he has no real shot at winning a ring. Maybe never again. Lonzo Ball was the worst shooter in the NBA last year. That is not my opinion but fact. Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram are nice players but they will never be more than role players.

What does this mean? Lebron James is still chasing Michael Jordan. But it is not this Michael Jordan.

Lebron James is done chasing rings or trying to win championships. He is all about Hollywood and is now chasing Michael B. Jordan. This is Lebron and Michael B. Jordan, the actor, a few years back.

And this is Michael B. Jordan in his blockbuster hit, Black Panther.

He also stared in Creed, the latest of the Rocky Series. Michael B. Jordan is a great actor. He was in one of my favorite HBO Series off all time, The Wire. But it is a shame that Lebron James, the so called greatest basketball player on the planet (In most people’s eyes), is done trying to win. He is still in his prime. He has a few great years left. And he will never reach another NBA Finals.

Next summer Lebron will be shooting the movie Space Jam 2. Unlike 9 other summers, when he was trying to win a title….

Now on to the Chicago Cubs. They are in full blown choke mode. They have looked pathetic the last couple nights. Bad pitching and no hitting what so ever. They are clinging to a .5 game lead over the Milwaukee Brewers. Cubs fans are panicking all over town and I am one of them ☹!

I would love to tell you all about it in my new Scorum Sports Cast. To check out my 61st show, just click the play button below. I look forward to hearing your input and comments. Cheers!
