I love Larry Bird, i mean i really love him. Since 1979 i am watching and following him just like crazy. That's why i have this facebook Larry Bird Fan Page (https://www.facebook.com/larry.bird.celtics/) and also only Larry Bird related Twitter account (https://twitter.com/LarryBirdDaily). He has never used social media so i always try to share and write about him for the community since 2010..

"Larry Legend" nicknamed Larry Bird could only played 13 seasons in NBA, his back pains didn't let him play more.. Actually we could say 12 seasons because 1988-89 he has missed nearly entire season because his injury, he could only manage play only 6 games that season..

The Boston Celtics reached the playoffs all 13 seasons with Larry Bird, he made the All-Star team He became 12 times All-Star and was named the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player in 1982. 1984 to 1986, three consecutive years Larry Bird was named the NBA's MVP..

35 years old Larry Bird before announced his retirement, he went to Barcelona with USA Basketball team and won the Olympic gold medal for his country. (And now we are remembering that USA team as a "Dream Team") In that tournament against Germany, Bird played big time basketball and we remember that his last greatest performance..

Many star players played longer than him but he left behind some amazing records and memories more than most of them. When he signed with Boston Celtics in 1979, the C's paid him $650,000 a year and that was record for a rookie player. But his rookie season Larry Bird averaged 21.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game and claiming Rookie of the Year honor! Next year when he got teamed with Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale, he got his first NBA championship and become Boston Celtics's most important player.

☘️ A career with 24.3 points, 10 rebounds, 63 assists and 1,7 steal per game.. With lots of record and memories.. Isn't that amazing? He was legend in Boston and also in all states of America.. We loved his big heart a lot..

His one of the best friend Magic Johnson accused him with a lie and i will never forget that.. "You only told me one lie.. You said there will be another Larry Bird. Larry there will be never ever be another Larry Bird".. 👇

I have watched his "MAD" Atlanta Hawks game performance on video in 1985, and i believe that was the best performance i have ever watched in any sports ever! His 60 points night still one of the best in the NBA performance history.. In this video below if you check the Atlanta Hawks bench you would understand what i really meant! They were cheering for the Legend and they fined from the Hawks management next day!👇

Some parts of book really changed my point of view, i believe everyone should read "The Story of My Life". The book stayed 14 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list as well..
