$100M For Draymond Green.. Is it worth?
$100M is quite big money. Nearly all of us wouldn't see that much money together in our life times. And this is not for a life time for Green.. It is only for 4 years.. Wouw! But the question is "is it worth?" His extension will start in 2020 and will end in 2024.. Green was mean to be a free agent next year.. He is always being a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year award and he got this honour in 2017. He looses his temper a lot but i believe that he always want to win, that's why he could act like crazy sometimes.. In last 5 season he has joined 3 times NBA All-Defensive first team and 2 times NBA All-Defensive second team. I think this achivements shows us why he is one of the best.. 29 years old Draymond Green will turn 30 on March and i believe the Warriors never wants to loose him until he retires.. Green has averaged 7.4 points last season and which is way down from his career average. If we check his scoring performance; 2012-13 2.9 2013-14 6.2 2014-15 11.7 2015-16 14.0 2016-17 10.2 2017-18 11.0 2018-19 7.4 He has averaged his lowest scoring performance since 2014, but also he had 6.4 FGA which is the lowest number since 2014 as well. So we can say that with their great shooters, Warriors didn't really needed him shoot much.. As we all know him as a great defender and i believe because of his powerful defense the Warriors claimed several championships. (Iguodala was great defender but they seperate their ways for the new season.
