Stephen Curry is the Executive Producer of an upcoming movie called Breakthrough which will be released to the public in April of 2019. This will be his first feature film. Back in March Curry launched his own film/tv company called Unanimous Media. This star is looking to shine bright.

Breakthrough is based on a true story, following the writings of Joyce Smith, she released a novel in 2017 called The Impossible. This story follows the writers son John, a 14 year old boy who fell through a frozen lake and was pronounced dead, only to wake up an hour later after everyone thought he was gone. The movie is about faith and perseverance and is family friendly. Curry felt that he had to be apart of this movie when he heard the story, signing a deal less than 24 hours later.

This movie stars actors Topher Grace, Josh Lucas and Chrissy Metz.

It's a new world, no longer does a celebrity need to stay in their lane. Influence is a power tool allowing athletes and artists to follow their desires, even if that means trying something that no on expected. Curry is an actor himself, so this is not so unexpected, at least not to those around him.

This movie is the first of many to come and as Curry says himself, this is the type of movie to expect from Unanimous Media in the future.
