NBA Talk #241: Steph Curry Ranks higher than Kobe Bryant in ESPN’s All-time Player List
Source What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the latest news and updates for the 2019 offseason! Let's start! It was never easy to rank players in any era and any timeline. There are a lot of considerations and differences in the era every player played on. Every list made was criticized; there will never be a correct or an accurate list of the top NBA players of all-time. I believe that it depends on everybody’s opinion. There will always be an argument in every list of the all-time players and recently, Bleacher Report’s list was one to argue about. In Bleacher Report’s Top 50 All-Time Players in NBA History, they surprisingly rank Stephen Curry higher than the Black Mamba Kobe Bryant. And as expected, many fans didn’t like that. Of course, Michael Jordan is on the top of this list followed by LeBron James at number 2. But, after that, we haven’t seen Kobe’s name in the top 10 and what makes people angry is seeing Stephen Curry in the 10th position. Kobe is always in the conversation when talking about the Greatest Player of All-time, but it looks like Bleacher Report is not one of them. Kobe’s not even in their top 10. Is it a real disrespect? Or does they really think that Curry had a better game than Kobe? We cannot argue that Curry is really an all-time great and Bleacher Report has a point in putting Curry above Kobe. He’s a two-time MVP who won multiple championships. He’s probably the greatest shooter of all-time. But, is it enough to put him above Kobe who’s a 5-time NBA champ, 2-time Finals MVP and 9-time all-defensive first team? I do not agree with Bleacher Report on this list. I think Kobe is a top 5 player of all-time or even top 3. However, everybody has a different point of view and opinion. And for me, Bleacher Report should put a little more respect on Kobe’s name. That is all for today folks! I would love to hear your thoughts about this article, so drop your comments now and let's have some basketball talk. 😁 Promo Links: https://www.sportstalksocial.com/@dwin0603 https://friendster.io/dwin0603 https://www.facebook.com/hooppress/ https://www.facebook.com/nbacourtvision/?modal=admin_todo_tour https://twitter.com/dwin0603 https://jamaa.com/profile/dwin0603 https://www.linkedin.com/in/aldwin-napiza-a82904188/
