Source: thetimesnews.com / The NCAA may have cancelled the Tournament, but I'm still keeping it alive the best I can! It's time for my official 2020 March Madness Bracket unveiling!

Welcome back everyone and a very happy Saturday! I'm back and super excited for today's official 2020 March Madness bracket reveal! As you know, I've been tracking the "bubble" & tournament field, and providing assessments and projections in the build-up to the NCAA Tournament on a daily basis. Of course, with Thursday's announcement from the NCAA that March Madness was officially cancelled, there will be no tournament this year unfortunately, but I'm doing my best to keep March Madness alive & well in my own small way.

-

I'll be simulating each & every game going forward, all the way to the Final Four & National Championship. The first games to be simulated will be the four "play-in" games, between the "Last 4 In" at-large bids and the 4 lowest seeded Conference Champions (16-seeds). I will simulate those games on Monday to give us our regular bracket of 64. At that point, I'll be asking everyone for their picks, and will have prizes for the most correct picks, best bracket, etc. Stay tuned! More details to come!

Source: KUsports.com / I'm keeping March Madness alive the best I can. In addition to today's official bracket reveal I'll be simulating the entire tournament and crowning a 2020 March Madness Champion.

Before I unveil my official bracket, a couple of notes on how I put the field together: For any conference tournaments that finished and awarded an automatic bid to their respective conference tournament Champion, those teams are in the field. For those conferences that did not get the opportunity to finish or begin their conference tournaments, the regular season Conference Champion is in the field with that league's automatic bid. As for the "bubble" teams and "Last 4 In", those teams remained exactly how I had them slated before the conference tournaments began. There were a handful of "bubble" teams that played early in their respective leagues' tournaments before they were all cancelled on Thursday. Most of the "bubble" teams did not have the opportunity to play any conference tournament games, and therefore, were evaluated on what they did in the regular season. That way no team received a bump in either direction based off of an opening round conference tournament game, that some teams were able to play, while others were not.

A couple of additional notes: The 4 #1-seeds went to: Kansas, Gonzaga, Dayton, and Baylor in that order. Kansas is the top overall seed. San Diego State is slated as the top 2-seed. N.C. State is the final team in the bracket. Now that we have perimeters set, without further ado, it's time to unveil my official 2020 March Madness Bracket:
