Week 12 in the College Football season is sure to be a good one. There are 113 games today and tons of options to bet on. But I have pin pointed a three team parlay to hammer. I figured that with the Scorum Betting launching in just a couple days, it would be good to write about some gambling today. I absolutely love sports wagering. My favorite sport to handicap is College Basketball. That season is under way and it has been a great week and a half so far. The Thanksgiving Tournaments are about to start on Monday and that will make for an incredible few days.

But today is all about the world of College Football. So let’s get started with the most interesting game on the board today.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will take on the Syracuse Orange. My friend, @sportsguychris, did a great preview of this game. I encourage you to go check it out. It is very thorough and gives a great perspective on who he thinks will win. I am concerned with how many points will be scored. The over/under is 64 points. That is a pretty high total to achieve.

Let’s take a look at how the two offenses and defenses stack up. Syracuse has the 13th highest scoring offense in College Football. They are led by their senior quarterback, Eric Dungey, who is outstanding throwing the ball and running it. That gives them a very balanced offense. Syracuse loves to push the tempo and runs one of the fastest offenses in the country.

Defensively, Syracuse sucks. They rank 184th in the country. They have given up over 36 points on four games this year. They are going to have a very hard time with the Notre Dame offense.

Speaking of which, Notre Dame has the 50th best offense in the country. Sophomore quarterback, Ian Book, has had a breakout year after starting the season as the #2 QB on the roster. But he finally got his shot and has an outstanding Quarterback Rating of 170. Book has been banged up of late but is feeling good now and will be ready to roll today.

Dexter Williams is averaging 128 yards on the ground and has scored 10 touchdowns for the Irish. This one-two punch of Book’s arm and Williams legs, will give the Syracuse defense a very hard time today.

My Verdict: Hammer the OVER 64

There are two other games that I like today. But I am not going to mess around with the point spreads. Do you know what the term “Moneyline” means? If you “Moneyline” a bet it simply means you are just picking which team will win the game. It does not matter what the point spread is. If you pick the winning team, then you win $. If you pick the losing team, then you are broke and lining up to give plasma on a Saturday morning. Is that @brandonk over there in line?

I love to “Moneyline” games but if you are taking a heavy favorite, it can be a costly mistake. Well, along with the OVER 64 in the Syracuse vs. Notre Dame game, I am going to parlay two “Moneyline” bets.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are 9-1 on the year and are still hoping to make the College Football Playoff. They are on the road today against a terrible Maryland team. Ohio State is favored by 14.5 points, but we don’t care about that part. They are -625 on the “Moneyline.” Now that is a LOT of juice. But I am using this in a parlay so you won’t feel the burn. Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes are in a MUST win scenario ahead of their huge match-up against the Michigan Wolverines and they will definitely escape Maryland with a win.

The second game that I am going to “Moneyline” is the N.C. State Wolfpack against the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville is a dumpster fire. They are 2-8 on the year and have recently fired their head coach, Bobby Petrino. They have one of the worst offenses in the country, which is ranked 232rd. But their defense is even worse at 297th. How pathetic! They have given up 66, 38, 56, 77, and 54 points in their last five weeks. And they are facing one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Ryan Finley of N.C. State. The point spread in this game is N.C. State -15.5 but again, we don’t care about that. We care that the “Moneyline” is -725.

My Verdict: Moneyline Ohio State and N.C. State and Parlay them with the OVER 64 in the Syracuse vs. Notre Dame game
