Tyler Kroft-TE (Cincinnati Bengals)

Starting tight end Tyler Eifert looked to have suffered a season ending lower leg injury on Sunday. Tyler Kroft is the next man up for the Bengals. Good thing about Kroft it wont be any learning curves because he was in this exact position last year with injury riddled Eifert missing time. His production was modest at 404 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns for the season. Modest or not the tight end position is rough this year so take what you can get. Andy Dalton loves to look for Kroft in the red area so if you lost Eifert pickup Kroft quick. Don’t confuse your Tyler’s when your looking on the waiver wire.

Mike Davis-RB (Seattle Seahawks)

I don’t really know what’s going on in the Seattle backfield but that’s not a shocker. Third in line running back Mike Davis was put into duty Sunday because Chris Carson was down with a bad hip. Davis didn’t disappoint, grabbing a 21 carry and 101 yard 2 touchdown day. I don’t think this hurts Carson but if it hurts anybody it will hurt Rashaad Penny who was suited up but did not outperform Davis. Deep leagues check for Mike Davis.

Nick Vannett-TE (Seattle Seahawks)

Nick Vannett was one of my preseason sleepers but Will Dissly came in and became one of Russell Wilson’s favorite targets. Vannett will get another chance to prove he is worthy since Dissly is out for the season with a patellar injury. The Seahawks was using both tight ends in the offense so it won’t be a tough for Vannett to make an impact. The hard part is gaining Wilson’s trust. Ed Dickson is on track for week 7 so keep an eye on that.

Taywan Taylor-WR (Tennessee Titans)

Rishard Matthews asked for his release from the Tennessee Titans last week. This opened up a chance for Taywan Taylor to get more reps. Taylor capitalize on Sunday with his first chance with extra playing time. 9 targets and 7 receptions. The Titans have an up and down schedule but Taywan will have his chances. Perfect PPR pickup.

Nick Chubb-RB (Cleveland Browns)

SEC fans knows what Nick Chubb is all about. Fans who don’t know got a good taste of what he could do on Sunday. With Chubb’s 105 yard 2 touchdown outing on Sunday against the raiders the Browns are headed towards a Running back by committee backfield. Nick Chubb should be owned in all leagues in the event that Hyde goes down with an injury but the Browns will likely go towards a run heavy offense to protect rookie quarterback.
