Things are starting to look steamy on the football field as the Super Bowl 54 approaches, and now that the final matchup is set.

After winning their respective NFC and AFC Championships, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will be battling it out at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida for the chance to take home the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy.

These two teams have always remained among the Super Bowl 54 Favorites, so there’s really not that much to be surprised about. Personally, I think the Chiefs are coming in as early favorites after their win over the Titans, which is also reflected in most sportsbooks so far. But let’s try to spread out the numbers and see the odds of the two teams winning the bowl.

Chiefs vs 49ers Super Bowl LIV betting odds

Kansas City Chiefs

QB Patrick Mahomes did not disappoint Kansas City after pulling all the stops to give the team its Super Bowl ticket. Although starting a bit slow, Mahomes eventually picked up the pace and landed at three passing touchdowns plus a rushing touchdown to get the cover. The Chiefs finished strong with a 35-24 win against the Tennessee Titans, making them one of the Super Bowl 54 Favorites thus far.

San Francisco 49ers

On the flip side, the San Francisco 49ers’ stats aren’t bad either. They were early Super Bowl 54 Favorites in their NFC campaign, and their last win over the Green Bay Packers which ended at 37-20 was truly a picture perfect finish. The 49ers opened as a touchdown favorite and closed at -8 by kickoff.

These two teams have shown equally good campaigns in their conferences, making it even more intriguing to see who has the higher chance to own it in the field.
