Making value bets on the Super Bowl is about exploring betting opportunities that lie beyond the surface. If you’re someone with a clear idea of how to bet on sports, then you’d know that the underdogs can quickly overthrow the top dogs with just one major offseason change. The Philadelphia Eagles can attest to that.

A 360-degree turn can occur anytime, and these Super Bowl 54 sleepers may be gearing to ambush the battle and potentially defeat the favorites this coming season.

Underdogs to Watch in the Super Bowl 54

Cleveland Browns

There’s always an unsettling feeling about something going wrong when a team’s been doing well. But luckily for the Browns, they’ve got a great roster to keep their hopes up.

With the addition of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and offensive line Olivier Vernon both from the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns is making some offseason upgrades. The team’s 7-8-1 finish in the last AFC North is also a great premonition after their bad streak of 0-16, 1-15, and 3-13 in the past three seasons.

New York Jets

The NY Jets may have missed the Vince Lombardi trophy since their win in 1968, but this coming season they’re brewing something strong to rise on top again.

They’re starting to stimulate fan passions after acquiring elite running back Le’Veon Bell whose outstanding record will help quarterback Sam Darnold rally the team to the finish. And with Adam Gase as their new head coach, The Jets’ ticket to the Super Bowl 54 isn’t far-fetched.

Los Angeles Chargers

The LA hype train is quickly picking up the pace. Phillip Rivers may be the oldest quarterback going into the season, but all the more reason to keep an eye on the LA Chargers because of his massive experience on the field. His 2018 performance is enough proof for that - an offense that finished 10th in passing yards and 26.8 points per game? Come on.

Arizona Cardinals

Last season was a bad run for the Cardinals, but you can bet they’re coming into the NFL with a great shot at redemption. Starting off with a new and improved offensive and defensive lines drafted by head coach Kliff Kingsbury is already a good sign, with running back David Johnson to tackle on the major duties.

It won’t be a surprise if one of these sleepers will turn out to be this season’s Eagles - the team that won the Super Bowl 52 when half of the world thought otherwise.

There’s more to dwell on than the long standing reign of The Patriots or The Chiefs. A lot can happen in the offseason, which is already apparent with the rise of these Super Bowl 54 underdogs.
