If you were looking for a thrilling game throughout all four quarters tonight you may have been left feeling a bit disappointed.  After everything was said and done the Eagles took home the "W" with the final score of 18 to 12.  Yep 18 - 12.

We'd come to expect more from last year's Super Bowl MVP quarterback Nick Foles, however tonight he threw 19 of 34 for 117 yards.  Yes you read that correctly.  Oh . . . and with one interception.  That's a passer rating of 48.0

We've also come to expect more out of Pro-Bowl quarterback Matt Ryan.  However tonight he threw 21 of 43 also with one interception.  His quarterback passer rating was a dismal 51.6

To put this into perspective, the average quarterback passer rating on any given Sunday from last year (2017) was 88.6

Maybe the defenses on both teams just played exceptionally well or maybe the offenses on both teams were just really rusty.  I guess we won't find out until week 2.
