I wanted to shoot out a reminder to join the pigskin pick'em contest I set up over at ESPN.com.  There are 3 groups and 3 chances to win.  The Scorum group is for straight up pick the winner picks, Scorum Spreads is picking the game against the spread, and the Scorum Confidence group allows you to assign confidence points based on how sure you are a team will win the game.  For instance, if you're certain the Patriots will win, assign them the highest point total and assign 1 to the game you are least sure about.  Prizes are as follows.

1st 75 SCR

2nd 50 SCR

3rd 25 SCR

These awards will be applied to all 3 groups.  Win all 3 and you could collect a cool 225 SCR.  This contest will last until January and payouts will occur after these contests have ended.

I will send out a few reminders before next Thursday allowing people to join before the season starts but hurry, the season kicks off next Thursday night, September 6th.  A few hours before that game I will lock the groups and no more entries will be able to enter or the leave the group.  The password for all the groups is "football123".

I accidentally locked down the group prematurely but I have fixed that problem and entries are once again allowed in.  So get your entry in before next Thursday night!  And don't forget to make your Thursday night picks each week because those games can sneak up on you!
