Week 6 lines for the SuperContest locked in Wednesday night. Above are the spreads for the games this week. Some of the big favorites are the Vikings at home laying 10 points to the Cardinals, the Texans at home laying 9.5 to the Bills, and the Packers at home on Monday Night laying 9.5 to the 49ers.
I'm getting better with my weekly plays. Last week my record was 3-1-1 with winning picks on the Vikings, Buffalo, and Arizona. Jacksonville was my only loss and I pushed with the Texans at -3. In my 3 correct guesses they not only covered but won outright and I said all 3 could win and I expected the Vikings and Cardinals to win their matchups.
This week is a bit tougher to nail down but here goes nothing. I'm taking the Dolphins +3 at home against the Bears, Redskins -1 at home against the Panthers, Colts +2.5 against the Jets, the Broncos +6.5 at home against the Rams, and finally the Patriots -3.5 at home against the Chiefs.
I'm on the Dolphins as a home dog here as the Bears seem to struggle a bit on the road and Miami is looking to get back on track after 2 tough road losses. The Redskins looked like garbage on Monday Night but I think that rallies to team to show up in this game against a team that just allowed a terrible Giants team to put up 30 points. The Colts are on extra rest and will be up against a rookie QB, they're better than their record indicates and they really need a win and I think they're able to get it. The Rams are off 2 games where they've allowed over 30 points, they may win but I think this game will be really close with the Rams defense struggling and the game in Denver at altitude. The Patriots are on extra rest and it's Belichick vs a hot rookie QB. The Patriots are great at taking away what their opponents do best. I expect Mahomes to struggle and the Patriots to play their patented ball control game against a suspect Chiefs defense. I think the Patriots win this game going away.
Those are my week 6 plays. So far on the season I have an 11-13-1 record. Let's see how these games play out!
