ESPN Team

Yesterday we had our Fantasy Football draft for the ESPN 16 team league.  Above are my draft results. I was fortunate enough to get the 2nd pick in the draft and used it to draft Todd Gurley as my top pick.  I believe he is the best RB in the league as he scored the most TDs on the most prolific offense last season.

For my second and third round pick I grabbed recievers Adam Thielen and Amari Cooper.  I'm hoping Thielen builds a nice rapport with new QB Kirk Cousins and that Amari Cooper is the main benefactor of a rejuvenated Raiders offense.  In the 4th round I grabbed Will Fuller V of the Houston Texans.  Last season he was a monster when DeShaun Watson was under center.  In the 4 games they played together Fuller made 13 receptions, 7 for touchdowns, and averaged over 21 yards per pass reception.  With a full season of Watson playing QB he could put up some spectacular numbers.

Rounding out my draft I grabbed Lamar Miller who is the starting RB for the Texans.  Julian Edelman who is suspended 4 games to start the year but will likely be one of Bradys favorite targets once he returns.  Allen Hurns who I expect to be a prominent piece of the Dallas Cowboy passing attack who lost Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.  Matt Ryan who I expect to give me solid production at the QB position.  O.J. Howard from my Bucs who is supposed to have an expanded role in the offense this season.

I decided to do a defense by committee by taking the Panthers and Steelers and to alternate them depending on their opponent for the week.  To round out my draft I picked up some players who can hopefully give me some production when my starters are on their bye weeks.  By the time those roll around I will know if my reserves are worth having on my team and can probably drop them and add other players depending on their production the first few weeks of the year.

What do you think of my fantasy team?  Let me know in the comments!  Thanks for reading!
