I am thrilled to announce my 94th Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode I will talk about the wild weekend in sports.

First off, congrats to the Boston Red Sox. You are again the World Series Champs and officially the best baseball team of the 21 century. Although I am a Cubs fan, I am at least happy that the title is in Boston and NOT New York.

We are 8 days away from the start of my favorite sport. I can’t wait for the College Basketball season to get rolling. We get a MONSTER game on opening night that will feature two top 5 teams in Kentucky and Duke. I will get more into this as the season approaches.

And finally, did you see my boy Mitch Trubisky walk into Soldier Field yesterday for the Bears?! LIKE A BOSS! Mitch was wearing his Mike Ditka outfit and it was straight fire! #MitchPlease #DaBears!

This is one of the best pitchers that I have seen in a long time. Nice work! Not to mention, the Chicago Bears won comfortably yesterday against the New York Jets. I was a bit worried though before the game when it was announced that the best player on the team, Khalil Mack, was out with an ankle. But the defense stepped up their game without him and handled the Jets and rookie quarterback, Sam Darnold, with ease. On to Buffalo next week which should equal a 5-3 record.
