I am thrilled to announce my 95th Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode I will talk about the NFL trades that went down today as well as some NBA buckets.
Some big moves today by the Philadelphia Eagles and the Houston Texans. The Eagles have not looked nearly as good this year as they did last year. It has taken a while to get the offense moving and today they tried to address that by trading for Golden Tate. My biggest take away from this is why the hell would the Detroit Lions trade their best wide receiver? @Mikey can you give me a hot take about this?
The Houston Texans also added a talented WR. They picked up Demarius Thomas from the Denver Broncos. That should help fix the disaster of losing Fuller to a season ending injury.
Ok, time for some NBA buckets. I am absolutely OUTRAGED at the Chicago Bulls. Not because they gave up 92 points in the first half to the Golden State Warriors or allowed Klay Thompson to set the all time NBA record for 14 three point shots made in a game (Thompson didn’t even play in the 4th quarter). But I am outraged that the Bulls didn’t fire head coach Fred Hoiberg. This guy SUCKS at coaching in the NBA. Ship him back to college basketball. Maybe he can join the Fighting Illini coaching staff which is sure to be getting ready for another painful year in Champaign.
Lebron James must be thinking, “What the F@CK did I get myself into.” The Lakers lose again and are just 2-5 on the season. The good new for Los Angeles is that they have a sure fire easy ass win coming on Wednesday night. But is their playoff hopes a pipe dream?
I would love to tell you all about it in my new Scorum Sports Cast. To check out my 95th show just click the play button below. I look forward to hearing your input and comments. Cheers!
