The Boston University freshman Brady Tkachuk is ranked second among all North American skaters by the NHL's Central Scouting Bureau. Son of Keith Tkachuk, United States Hockey Hall of Fame member, and younger brother of Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk, Brady has a combination of hard-hitting and play-making components to his game. Last season he spent in Boston University with 31 points (8+23) and 61 penalty minutes.

Central Scouting Bureau director Dan Marr said about the younger Tkachuk:

"He's a complete package that can be impactful in every situation with and without the puck. He knows what needs to be done, and he's not afraid to get dirty to go out and do it. But he also has the skills and finesse to play that type of a game to win you the game."

Also this year Brady was a captain of the U.S. National Team at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship and earned 7 points (1+6) in 7 games with 12 penalty minutes.

He’s a huge forward (6-3,196 pounds) and don’t afraid to use his body, he plays efficient in all the zones. Brady Tkachuk can become a top-level NHL forward.

He has a good chance to be selected in top-five and have a higher overall number than his father Keith (No. 19 in 1990) and brother Matthew (No. 6 in 2016).
