The Vegas Golden Knights was a very successful franchise in its inaugural year, making the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Only a few teams in the NHL history did the same. Also, Golden Knights quickly gathered a solid fan base, Vegas fell in love with hockey.

But there is another sports team in Vegas for many years, and it's the Las Vegas 51s,  a Triple-A baseball club in the Pacific Coast League. They were the Las Vegas Stars in 1983–2000 and since 2001 have their current name, but now they're preparing for the rebranding of the name and logo and moving into a brand new ballpark.

For one of the final games as the Las Vegas 51s, the team collaborated with the Golden Knights and entered the Cashman Field in the special edition Golden Knights themed jerseys. Also, the Vegas defenseman Jon Merril threw out the ceremonial first pitch in this game on Saturday.

It's not the first collaboration between baseball and hockey we saw. Two years ago the Los Angeles Angels from Anaheim arranged the Ducks Night to show their love to the Anaheim Ducks. The Angels made a nice Ducks uniform for this game, mixing the logos of the two teams.

In 2017 the Ducks Night took place in Anaheim again, with the second edition of the uniform.

The next Ducks Night scheduled on September 14 and the third edition of the Angels special uniform already presented.

The Ducks Night isn't just about Angels, the Ducks wore a special Angels jersey during the pre-game warmup, but on another date.

The same kind of the warmup jersey had the Los Angeles Kings, but not of Angels. The Kings' jerseys were in style of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Also, recently we saw another interesting interaction between baseball and hockey clubs. The St. Louis Cardinals had their traditional Rookie Dress Up Day, an annual event where all the rookie players of the Cardinals had to be dressed in a themed outfit. The theme is usually picked by one of the Cardinals veteran players, and this year it's the St. Louis Blues. Let's see what it looked like.

So, do you like the collaboration jerseys? Which one best?
